The UK is imposing sanctions on Belarus for its role in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the government announced on Tuesday.

Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said the sanctions were being launched against individuals and organizations because of the role the country is playing in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
