Popular singer ,Julius Owino alias Juliani has disowned claims making headlines on social media platforms that he is working for Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition as an entertainment director during campaign rallies .
In a statement , the popular singer clarified that he was yet to have formal communications with the coalition .
Juliani stated that he was not affiliated to any political party as well as being employed by any .
“It has been brought to my attention that there’s information circulating online about my appointment as Director of entertainment in Azimio -OKA coalition,”
“I would like to clarify that this has not been communicated to me formally or otherwise .Therefore I would like to confirm that I am not employed or affiliated with any political party in Kenya or beyond,” read the statement in parts .
However, he noted that he is willing to join hands with like-minded partners including political parties that have clear manifesto and agenda focusing primarily on sustainable youth empowerment initiatives.
The singer has previously grabbed headlines after he slipped away with the Lilian Ng’a’ng’a , former wife of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua .
The newest couple tied the knot in a private wedding .It is said that the couple is expecting their first born .
