Former kiss Presenter , Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has shelved The Orange Demeocratic Movement (ODM) party ticket for the Langata Parliamenatry seat .

Jalang’o emerged as the victor in the Thursday ,April 2022 Polls after he garnered 3,509 votes unlike his rival Oscar Omoke who got 1,612 votes .

Also in the race was former Gor Mahia Treasurer , Sally Bolo who garnered 138 votes .

Jalang’o thanked his supporters for supporting his ambitions promising to deliver to the people of Langata Constituency .

“God has given me the chance to fly the Azimio flag in the August elections . Thank you Langata . We are one step in . Now the real work begins and God is above everything ,” The statement read

Jalang’o will will battle it out with incumbent , Nixon Korir of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Elsewhere , Imran Okoth failed to secure ODM party ticket in regards to Kibera Parliamentary seat after losing to Mwalimu Peter Orero who garnered 3,422 votes .Okoth got2,739 in the Thursday nominations .

The Kibra Legislator won the by-elections in2019 after his brother and former MP Ken Okoth succumbed to cancer .
