Kim Kardashian channels Carmen Electra in backless cutout dress

Kim Kardashian’s latest Instagram look is Electra-fying.

The star of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” posed on social media Thursday in a white backless gown strikingly similar to a Stephen Spouse design worn by Carmen Electra at the 1998 MTV Movie Awards.

“It had a clear strap holding [it] on. It was a mystery as to how this dress stayed on. My boobs were kind of pouring out of the dress and I literally was on every ‘Worst Dressed’ list in that dress,” Electra, 49 told Vogue of the nearly-naked cutout creation in 2017.

“But I was looking at it [recently] and I was like, ‘It’s so covered today.’ In the ’90s, it was really hard [if] you wanted to wear sexy clothes.”

After spotting Kardashian, 41, in her spot-on recreation of the sexy look, the “Baywatch” beauty did a little reminiscing on Instagram — and revealed that her Sprouse original is still hanging in her closet.

“I still have this dress I wore to the mtv movie awards in the 90’s [sic],” she wrote. “@kimkardashian remade this designer dress and I think it’s flattering not a completion [sic]! I think it’s cool  shouting out love to the ladies always have !!!!!!!!”

Kardashian and Electra aren’t the only superstars to stun in the skin-baring style; the dress was originally modeled on Sprouse’s runway by supermodel (and Skims face) Kate Moss.

“It was a mystery as to how this dress stayed on,” Electra told Vogue.
