The woman , Elizabeth Nalem who wedded the holy spirit in West Pokot County has been found dead.
Elizabeth Nalem’s body was found lifeless in the forest on Saturday barely 10 months after marrying the holy spirit.
According to reports by the Police ,Elizabeth Nalem ,41, Had left home a week ago with a panga and a walking stick heading to the forest but never returned .
Reason and cause of her death are yet to be established as suspicions are that she was attacked by animals in the forest .
The mother of six hit the headlines months ago after opening up she was getting married to the ‘holy spirit ‘
Elizabeth wedded her new beloved in a strange Church in West Pokot County .
Elizabeth’s husband was perplexed after she had vanished from her home for a period of one week and on returning she was in company of her bridesmaid , whom the husband declined her stay in their home making her up set and left as well .
“My wife was upset since I did not allow her best maid to spend the night at our place . She left and went to look for her ,” Joshua Nalem , her husband said.
Joshua Nalem lived a happy life with his wife Elizabeth , paying a bride price of 22 cows and receiving blessings of six children from above .
” I don’t know what is disturbing my wife . We are married and blessed with six children . I have fully paid her bride price . I have 22 cows , ” he said puzzled.
Elizabeth’s decision to marry the ‘holy spirit ‘had left Joshua in custody of their children alone .
” I allowed her to go to church since I don’t go. But when I noticed weird characters in her prayer patter , I questioned her and she was upset and left our home . She stayed away for five days , ” he said.
Nalem said he was only perplexed to see her dressed in a white gown at Makutano town ready to get married to her new love .
Elizabeth claimed the holy spirit had promised her a chopper to enable her spread the word of God .
