Politician and lawyer Karen Nyamu is unshaken by her ‘co-wife’ Edday not supporting her to become the Nairobi senator during the August general election.

Edday, Samidoh’s wife declared she’ll be supporting her best friend who is running for the same seat under the Chama Cha Kazi party.

Karen Nyamu said she is only competing against Azimio Party.

“It is her right but I am not in competition with whoever she is supporting. Right now, you all know that chama ni mbili. UDA and Azimio in all the positions. Hizo zingine ziko chini. I can’t be in such a competition. She should also plan on starting something so that we also support her badala ya wivu.”

Karen added that Edday is using that to spoil her ambitions.

“If she wants to spoil for me just because she has realized I am about to become a senator, she should know that God’s plan cannot be disarranged by haters.”

Karen’s co-wife, Edday,  shared a photo with her friend Julie Kabogo and revealed that she was her preferred candidate for the seat.

“My senator (Nairobi senator 2022) #chamachakazi #mbokanadoo #bossma,” she wrote.
