Langata parliamentary aspirant , ambitious Felix Odiwuor alias Jalango , has refuted claims suggesting that the ODM party had requested him to step out of the parliamentary race in favor of his competitor Oscar Omoke .

Over the past few days , talks have hit the headlines that the Orange Democratic Party preferred Omoke as their flagbearer in Langata race .Reports alleged that the party was contemplating handing Omoke a direct ticket instead of subjecting aspirants to a nomination process .

However Jalango has affirmed to his supporters that he is in the parliamentary race to stay .

“We are in the Langata race to the end ! 9th August the day!! Forget the rumours ! No one has been denied the ticket and no one has been given !!” Jalango posted

ODM’s decision to issue direct tickets in selected areas has been faced with a lot of opposition from party members resulting to several aspirants vying on independent tickets .
