American Rapper Young Thug Offers To Help Africans Stranded At Ukraine Border

American rapper Young Thug has offered to help Africans stranded in Ukraine following a conflict with Russia that has witnessed attacks launched against the country.

This comes following several reports of discrimination against Africans at the Ukraine border as they try to flee.

Young Thug has now taken to Instagram to summon his fellow rap stars to help.

“If some of my rap brothers are in I’m willing to help Africans get out of Ukraine however I can sense they are not letting us pass,” wrote Young Thug on his Instagram stories.

Fellow rapper Gunna also tweeted in solidarity with the Africans in Ukraine.

“We pushing peace #prayforUkraine,” wrote Gunna.

Rapper Cardi B also weighed in on the Ukraine invasion saying “War, sanctions, invasions should be the last thing these leaders should worry about.”

She added: “Wish these world leaders stop tripping about power and really think about whose really getting affected (citizens) besides the whole world is in a crisis.”

According to a report by Al Jazeera, one Congolese student claimed that he experienced discrimination while crossing the Ukraine-Poland boarder.

“We were the last people to get on anything, it was always like that.” Madi Kemel Dinga, told Al Jazeera in Korczowa, eastern Poland.

“They will put their people first. And then us. For me, it was discriminating but for them, it is normal.”
