Mary Airo alias Mama Nyaguthi has opened up revealing she lost close friends following her support for Ruth Matete who had been accused of having a hand in husband’s untimely death.

According to Mama Nyaguthii she always believed in Ruth Matete’s innocence something that contributed to her losing friends.

Addressing this in her comment section – Mama Nyaguthii expressed gratitude after Ruth was acquitted of a murder charges following evidence proving the gas cylinder had not been tampered with.

I have followed your story from the word go. I saw how people incriminated you for an offense you never committed. I tried by my means to explain to others that you were innocent, I was certain you were. I lost friends because of my stand in your case. Mama Nyaguthii wrote.

According to the actress the trolling got so bad that it got to a point where she had to block followers who were attacking Matete online.

I blocked followers who were majorly women who ridiculed you and made very offensive sentiments about you. Deep in my heart, I asked God to give you grace and courage to walk you through the unwarranted hostility. This is extremely good news for me. God has indeed done His thing. We give him all the glory . She concluded.
