The Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) has launched an online platform that will help voters to verify their details barely three months to the much anticipated August 9 General Elections.
In a statement released by IEBC on Thursday ,May 5, read that Kenyans can verify details of registrations by sending SMS or via the portal.
HOW TO VERIFY
A registered voter can send his/her details ; ID number or passport number which was used during the registration process via SMS to 70000.
Similarly , You can also visit the IEBC portal and insert details on the online platform.
Correction of wrong details will be done before the exercise is completed.
“Visit the commission website portal iebc.or.ke . In the event , your details are incorrectly captured , Visit your registration center,” read the statement.
DURATION
The process commenced on May 5 and is set to come to a standstill on Thursday, June 2.
