Raila Odinga set to leave Kenya for a one-week’s tour abroad

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga is set to leave the country on Friday, April 22, for a week tour in the United states of America.

Odinga’s trip is said to be focused on rallying up his August Presidential bid among the international community as he sells his agenda for the country should he clinch power .

A report by his spokesperson Dennis Onyango , The Azimio La Umoja leader will kick off his tour in Washington DC, where he is expected to meet Black Congressional Caucus and other US leaders .

Onyango told Nation that Odinga will thereafter head to San Francisco , but noted that his full itinerary is still being developed .

Political leaders accompanying him will be ; Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua , Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya , his Kisii counterpart Jmaes Ongawae ,former Aldai MP Sally Kosgey , Homa bay senator Moses Kajwang and Kathiani MP Robert Mbui .

They are expected to return on Friday , April 29.
