Will Smith , an actor has apologized to comedian Chris Rock for slapping him on stage during an award ceremony at the Oscars .
Will smith on a statement said that he would like to publicly apologize to Chris for what he termed as out of line and wrong .
“My Behavior at last night Academy awards was unacceptable and inexcusable .I was out of line and I was wrong “. Will said on a statement.
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences have condemned the incidence and have embarked on formal review of the incident and partake necessary actions with accordance by law.
However , Will Smith on his side said that he is embarrassed with his actions as they were not indicative of the man he want to be .
“I am embarrassed and my actions are not indicative of the man I want to be . There is no place for violence in the world of Kindness and love .” Will said.
Will Smith also apologized to the the Academy ,the producers of the show and all the attendees and everyone watching around the world .
“I would also like to apologize to the Academy , the producers of the show ,all the attendees and everyone watching around the world .I would like to apologize to the Williams family and my King Richard Family . I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us . I am a work in Progress. ” Will Smith said on statement .
