MURANGA-Police are investigating a case where an aspirant’s house was burned down in a suspected arson attack .
George Kinyanjui , Kanyenyaini ward MCA hopeful was lucky to have escaped death through his absence with his family at their home .
“Luckily our aspirant was away ,” Party leader Irungu Nyakera said .
The Farmers Party has condemned the incident calling for security officers to speed up with investigations .
“The Farmers Party joins the Kanyanyaini community in strongly condemning the hideous crime of burning down the house ,” he said
“The Farmers Party Leader in Murang’a will stand with our aspirants and we have dispatched a response team, compromising national party officials ,county team , and local aspirants to support George Kinyanjui and asses the situation ,” Irungu Nyakera said .
