Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru urges Pres Uhuru to contemplate a handshake with DP Ruto.

Kirinyaga Governor ,Ann Waiguru has today advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to think of a handshake with his Deputy Wiliam Ruto .

Speaking to residents in Kianjege Ndia constituency ,Ann Waiguru asked President Uhuru to reconcile with Ruto so to ensure that there’s a peaceful coexistence between the two and to cement the the respect Uhuru had earned within Mt Kenya region.

Waiguru also said it was possible for the duo to reconcile since it was possible for Pres Uhuru to reconcile with his long-term political rival Raila Odinga .

Governor Waiguru further expressed her love and respect to the President .

“Mr President ,We love you and we respect you. Because I have been here and listened to the people , If I were you I would have a handshake with William Ruto ,”Waiguru Said.

Waiguru further refuted President Uhuru’s Claims of His Deputy Ruto been greedy of power hence perpetrating to overthrow Uhuru’s government.

Waiguru claimed that ODM leader Raila Odinga was the man who swore himself after 2017 elections therefore Uhuru should stop pointing fingers at Ruto .

“Because the person we Know wanted to overthrow your government went ahead and swore himself in , and that person is Raila Odinga ,” She said.

Waiguru also reassured Dp Ruto full support from Mt Kenya region ahead of anticipated August General elections .

“Mt Kenya is standing with William Ruto to the end .” she said.

Waiguru digressed to her opponents and especially to Wangui Ngirici who is seeking for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat on an independent ticket. She claimed that kirinyaga County residents would probably not elect her .

“There are people who claim to be vying on independent ticket while others do not even knoow the parties they are supporting .Let me tell you , You are either in UDA Party or under Azimio La UMoja coalition ,” she said .

Waiguru further called for UDA free and fair Party nominations which will be held on April .
