A six -year- old minor has suffered in the hands of her father and stepmother leading to her death.
Beverly Mumo Musyoki’s life was shuttered by her father Robinson Musyoki and stepmother Rose Muteti , on August ,24,2020 .
This comes after Detectives conducted a fresh investigations into the murder which had earlier been called off .
According to Beverly’s biological mother, Naomi Kiamba , she learnt of the demise of her daughter via a phone call from her ex-husband , who called her on October,24,2020 who informed her that he was heading to Montezuma funeral home since their daughter had fallen sick and died .
It is then that Naomi rushed to the morgue only find the body of her daughter lying lifeless full of bruises around her body .
However , Chief government Pathologist , Dr.Johansen Oduor , stated that the death was caused by blunt force trauma indicating that the child died due to injuries similar to a case of child abuse .
Homicide detectives established that Beverly’s parents separated hence court ordered Robinson to stay with their children for one month ;from October 29,2019 to December 5,2020 before returning to her mother Naomi .
But then Robinson went missing ;never returning the children and shied away from picking Naomi’s calls .
Naomi went back to court on December, 16, 2019, unknown to her that Robinson had married another woman and moved in with her to an unknown residence,, however the OCS industrial area Police station ordered a warrant of arrest .
Robinson was never to be found until a year later when he called Naomi to inform her of the disgusting news of their daughters demise .
BUST-UP
The two lived happily as a couple who were devoted Christians .
They met in Church where Naomi’s husband played guitar at the African Brotherhood Church in Starehe while Naomi sang in the Choir .
But after some time of being together Naomi noticed absurd behaviors from the husband who had already begun enjoying booze yet he was a Rechabite .
This pushed Naomi to depression leading to the split-up of their marriage .
THREATS
Detectives also established that the deceased’s 11-year old brother received threats of losing his life if in anyway he opened-up to what transpired in relation to her sister’s death.
The two culprits are currently in Machakos county Courts facing murder charges .
